Upcoming group Crossing Rain offering virtual meet-and-greet
February 5, 2022
Hawaii DECA is sponsoring a virtual meet-and-greet event with the K-Pop inspired local group Crossing Rain this Sunday, February 6 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. The event, open to any student, will allow students to hear from the six-member band, as they begin to grow their brand.
Moanalua High School DECA Vice President of Leadership, Kendelle Hung-Ino, will be moderating the event.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to learn more about the music industry and how it overlaps with what we learn business-wise in DECA,” said Hung-Ino.
Brought together by talent agents from TIRZAH Entertainment, the six local boys who make up Crossing Rain debuted in 2021. Inspired by BTS, an international K-pop sensation, they hope to spread aloha and positivity through their music and dance. The band members’ ages range from 12-21: Monarch (lead rapper, vocalist and dancer); Asher (lead dancer); Haru (dancer and vocalist); Jordan (lead vocalist and dancer); Devin (vocalist and dancer); and Shotaro (dancer and vocalist).
They released their album “Dream” in December. After a February 26 concert at the Blaisdell Arena, they will tour the mainland.
