Ka Liona
November 28, 2022
After reading the old Hawaiian newspaper, we gathered lots of interesting information about lions. Lions came from Asia and are very similar to tigers. We discovered that our ancestors described lions as having very sharp teeth, rounded ears, a fluffy beard/mane, and a big body of about 6 feet long. We learned lions eat meat and sleep practically anywhere in the wilderness. To conclude our research we enjoyed learning about how our ancestors viewed foreign animals, and thank you for allowing us to share what we learned with you.
