Students excitedly prepared for the 2024 Homecoming Parade that took place on Friday, September 20th. Leading up to this event, classes worked on props and cheers to showcase their class spirit in the streets of Salt Lake. Moanalua High School’s cheerleaders led the way, followed shortly by the homecoming court trolley, who waved at and greeted bystanders alike. Next in line, was our JROTC, who marched their way through the parade with a military style.
The highly-anticipated Moanalua High School Marching Band played a variety of upbeat parade songs, and the color guard spun their rifles and flags. Following them, Moanalua district elementary school students cheered and represented their schools as they walked with their own signs and banners. Finally, achoring the parade were the classes: class of 2025 seniors, class of 2026 juniors, class of 2027 sophomores, and the class of 2028 freshmen.
