Camille Irurita - Corpuz is a creative and ambitious senior at Moanalua, anticipating her final year. As the newly selected Editor In Chief for our news page Na Hoku, she's ready to leave her mark. Outside of school she enjoying sewing, showcasing her artistic skills. With a passion for helping the community she plans to study in the medical or law field.

Kaitlyn Asiata is a junior and she is entering her first year in Newswriting. Additionally, she’s in her second year in Yearbook, second year in MoHS Graphics, and her first year in the MoHS animation team. In the future, she aspires to work a career in graphics or animation. Kaitlyn describes herself as very resilient, but also as a procrastinator. Her mindset is to never give up.

Her favorite place she has traveled to is Paris, although she wants to visit Asia. Adela aspires to work in the healthcare field, specifically dermatology.

Jayla Ford is a junior and is in her first year of Newswriting for Nā Hōkū. Some of her favorite hobbies include dance and Lei making. Jayla is passionate about her culture, as she has participated in Moanalua High School’s May Day program for the past two years. She aspires to share her love for her culture with others, in the present and in the future.

Kayla Marie Asuncion is a senior and a first year writer in Nā Hōkū News. She’s in the Moanalua Menehune Marching band and color guard. During her free time she watches rom-coms and tv shows like “The Summer I Turned Pretty” and “10 Things I Hate About You.” Whenever she the chance to go out with her friends for dinner, her go-to dish is an Alfredo pasta.

If Jazlynn could be any animal, she’d be a red panda because they fall off trees. Her go to drink when going out is strawberry matcha.

Lauryn’s hobbies include roller skating and soccer.  Her favorite Netflix TV show at the moment is “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” Her future aspirations include majoring in Kinesiology to hopefully become a PT (Physical Therapist).

She doesn’t necessarily have a favorite dessert, but her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough. Deja’s dream vacation is going to Japan. She aspires to be a successful business woman.
