Jadin Washington is a senior and this is in his second year of Newswriting. In his free time he enjoys dancing, photography, designing, and listening to music. Jadin also participates in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble.

Camille Irurita-Corpuz is a junior and is in her first year in Newswriting. She loves to watch movies and shows  such as “10 Things I Hate About You”, “Gilmore Girls”, and “Grey’s Anatomy.” If she was forced to pick one drink for the rest of her life it would be matcha. She one day hopes to be a NICU Ultrasound Technician.

Shane Wellspeak is a junior and is in his first year in Newswriting. Shane joined Newswriting because he was passionate about journalism. He considers himself a jack-of-all-trades, which is reflected in how he tries various new hobbies in his spare time. He is looking forward to learning how to create editorials!

Deja Semes is a junior and she’s in her first year of the yearbook and news writing class. She loves playing the ukulele and listening to music. She doesn’t necessarily have a favorite dessert, but her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough. Deja’s dream vacation is going to Japan. She aspires to be a successful business woman.

Chiedozie “Dozie” Orji is a senior and is in his first year on staff. He likes to play basketball and football, as well as do shotput. He hopes he can get interesting stories, talk to people, and have a good school year.

Luke Jones is a senior and is in his first year in News-Writing. Luke joined the Na Hoku staff team because he deeply enjoys writing. He enjoys volleyball and chess in his spare time. He is looking forward to graduation and moving onto college!

Naomi Brown is a junior and she’s in her first year in Newswriting. Her comfort show is “Garfield” because she feels they are similar in many ways. She is a member of the track team and her favorite event is the 100-meter. Chipotle is always her go-to fast food restaurant! She one day aspires to be an Ultrasound Technician.

Leilani Acosta is a senior and is in her first year in Newswriting. She decided to join so she can deepen the connection between Na Hoku and the Moanalua community. She has an interest in weird video games and reading novels. After her education, she plans to publish a book.

Jazelle “Zelle” Jones is a junior and in her first year in Newswriting. In her free time, she does fashion design on the side and loves playing with her dog. After she graduates, Jazelle wants to go to UNLV for college.

Kira Kaneshiro is a senior and is in her third year of Newswriting. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, play video games, and play with her cats. She also participates in our school’s air riflery team.
