Making the Switch to Virtual Registration

Britney Maddox, Editor In Chief

Happy Monday Menes! This time last year students were receiving stickers for their registration cards, but with virtual learning things are different. This year’s registration for next year’s classes will be conducted online through Google Forms.

Students received a planning worksheet in early January on which to write the names and code numbers of the course they wanted. Students should talk to their current teachers about the best options for the next grade level.

With adjusting to virtual registration students such as sophomore Coby Chang believe that, “virtual registration forms should be used [permanently] because it’s more convenient to complete.”

New courses for next year include AP Seminar and its partner course AP Research. Also new are Piano 2, Guitar 2, and Foundations of Education.

Drop-in advising sessions will be Monday, January 11 from 2-3 p.m. and Wednesday, January 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The deadline to submit the Google Form course registration is this Friday, January 15. For more information about next year’s courses go to moanaluahs.org for the course catalog and informational videos.
