Creativity and culture on display at World Languages art show
January 14, 2022
The Chinese language classes demonstrated the art of knot tying.
International cultures were on display around campus last week as part of the World Languages Department’s Culture Week.
Students created two- and three-dimensions pieces that reflected important cultural concepts about the language they were studying. Some students were able to incorporate their personal identity into their creations.
Student presentations highlighted noon hour Monday and Wednesday, and on Friday, the Peer Education Program students sponsored booths highlighting cultural awareness.
