The Moanalua Girls Bowling Team is currently first in the Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) Eastern Division at 5-0.

Senior Masie Shimabukuro is also first in the division with an average of 184.

Masie is the epitome of a “sponge & stone,” boys’ team coach Geri Mehrtens said. “[She] voraciously explores, incorporates and delivers not just for herself but for her teammates, MoHS & her family.”

Shimabukuro is backed up by teammates Caytlen Oishi-Gascon, Isabelle Asuncion, Jacie Masuda, Alora Amina, Ashlynn Mariano, Esther Del Valle and Nevaeh Floyd.
