Hawaii Pacific Health’s ‘Vax Squad Bus’ will be returning to Moanalua’s campus August 17.

Hawaii Pacific Health’s vaccination bus is returning to the Moanalua campus next Tuesday, August 17, as the state continues its efforts to increase vaccination rates across the island. Hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The mobile clinic will be located outside the Performing Arts Center.

Community members, staff, and students over the age of 12 are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Those over 18, or guardians of children 12 to 17, can make an appointment here

“We want to make it easier for students to be able to get the vaccine if they want to,” Moanalua High School Principal Robin Martin said.

As of August 13 61.2 percent of the state was fully vaccinated. Restrictions will end when the state reaches a 70 percent vaccination rate.
