The Health Fair returns to Moanalua

The Health Fair Nov. 18 is sponsored by the PTSA to encourage students to develop a healthy lifestyle and reclaim their control in their life after COVID. Community partners will set up booths with information, activities, and giveaways.

This is the second health fair. The first occurred in the fall of 2019, but the pandemic prevented the event from happening again until now.

“Student Activities will have a booth with games,” Student Activities Coordinator Neilson Ishida said. “We’ll have a soba-eating contest for students and faculty, too.”

There will also be a dunk booth featuring teachers and administrators.

Dance Moanalua and the Polynesian Dance Club will perform at the event, which will follow a special bell schedule. Period 7 will end at 1:00, and students will be required to go to the athletic field. School will officially end at 2:45 p.m.
