Adela Heath is a junior and is in her first year of Newswriting. She enjoys reading in her free time, one of her favorite book series is “The Summer I Turned Pretty” by Jenny Han. Her favorite place she has traveled to is Paris, although she wants to visit Asia. Adela aspires to work in the healthcare field, specifically dermatology.

Serenity Rivera is a sophomore and is entering her 2nd year in Newswriting, and first year at Moanalua. She loves travelling, and learning and sharing about other cultures. Her Mexican-American heritage is a main source of inspiration for everything she does. Serenity has aspirations to become a journalist to inform the masses, and share her voice with the world.

Deja Semes is a junior and she’s in her first year of the yearbook and news writing class. She loves playing the ukulele and listening to music. She doesn’t necessarily have a favorite dessert, but her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough. Deja’s dream vacation is going to Japan. She aspires to be a successful business woman.
Kaitlyn Asiata, Staff Writer
Kaitlyn Asiata is a junior and she is entering her first year in Newswriting. Additionally, she’s in her second year in Yearbook, second year in MoHS Graphics, and her first year in the MoHS animation team. In the future, she aspires to work a career in graphics or animation. Kaitlyn describes herself as very resilient, but also as a procrastinator. Her mindset is to never give up.
